Live Music with Mike Bills

Mike first picked up a guitar at the age of 18, and has been playing ever since. The first band Mike started with was called Dash Riprock (named after a character on The Beverly Hillbillies. Mike also played in a few local coverbands, including Side B. Side B played nearly every weekend for about 1 1/2 years all over Western Montana. By 1992 Mike had earned a degree in School Psychology, and got a job in East Wenatchee, WA; where he continues to live. He played briefly in a blues band when he first moved to Wenatchee. Later, he began to move away from playing music while he got married and had a daughter. He stayed away from music for about 10 years. Eventually, he caught the music bug again. Mike started playing the bass in two local bands, as he got back up to speed with playing again. Eventually he was playing guitar again with bands like The Fuel Rods, The Skiffs, and Velvet Elvis (named after a hideous painting of Elvis on a velvet canvas that bassist Joe Guimond proudly hangs in his living room). Today, Mike is more often seen playing solo, here at Silvara Cellars we are eager to host him.
