Winemaker’s Notes: Our goal with this Cabernet has always been to capture the regal nature of the variety that they call the “King of Red Grapes”—purity of expression, youthful fruitiness, ageworthy structure, food-friendliness, and an undeniable sense of the place where it was grown. And in 2019, our winemaker Gary nailed all of those elusive Cabernet markers.
PAIRINGS: It’s an incredibly versatile choice, an excellent match for dishes like grilled ribeye steak, slow-cooked lamb shanks, wild mushroom risotto, and roasted eggplant Parmesan. For dessert, try it with dark chocolate and berry treats to highlight its nuanced finish.
