Our exclusive Igloo Experience is a unique opportunity to escape to a cozy, heated igloo nestled in the heart of our enchanting garden. Imagine savoring exceptional wines while being surrounded by the snowcapped Cascades, a picturesque winter wonderland that provides the perfect backdrop for memorable moments.
Our hilltop winery is located just five minutes outside the bustling village of Leavenworth, WA, and a short, five-mile drive from the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Leavenworth’s convenient hotels, restaurants, and cafes are mere minutes away, and we’re also close to the stunning Cascade Loop scenic drive, which has made our area of Washington state renowned among nature lovers. Our igloos area offers inspiring views of some of the most dramatic landscapes in the USA—the perfect setting for enjoying our award-winning wines.
The Experience
Silvara Cellars Igloo Experience offers the unique opportunity of creating an intimate and memorable moment with your beloved ones, savoring exceptional wines while surrounded by the snowcapped Cascades. This is an adult-only experience.
INCLUDES: A delightful selection of Silvara wines: 1 bottle of 2022 Winemaker’s Reserve White Blend, 1 bottle of 2020 Woodland Goddess Reserve Red Blend, and 1 bottle of 2019 Barbera.
FOOD: Not included. We offer small bites for purchase (cured meats, cheese, crackers).
LENGTH: The Igloo Experience is available for a time slot of 90 minutes.
SCHEDULES: Time slots for each igloo are as follows: 12:00 to 1:30PM, 1:45 to 3:15PM, and 3:30 to 5PM. Check below our Visitor Information section for specific holiday hours.
COST: Package cost is $190.
CAPACITY: Igloo A accommodates a maximum of 5 people. Igloo B has a maximum capacity of 4 people, with the option to add a folding chair for one additional guest.
RESERVATIONS: They are mandatory. We require a non-refundable deposit of $50. This deposit is applied toward the package price. Follow this link for reservations.
DISCOUNTS: Wine Club Members from The Silvan Society can enjoy a special rate of $40 for reservations, in addition to the required minimum purchase of 3 bottles (your appropriate Wine Club discount will apply on purchases).

Smoke-Free: Silvara’s igloos are a smoke-free environment to ensure the comfort of all guests.
Pets not allowed: For the safety and consideration of all our visitors, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
Children not allowed: Our igloo experience is exclusively for adults to provide a tranquil and serene atmosphere.
Outside food not allowed: We have curated a delightful wine and snack experience within the igloo. Outside food is not permitted.

How many igloos are available at Silvara Cellars? We have two heated plastic igloos with beautiful views of the Cascades, each offering an exclusive winter experience in our garden just a few miles from Leavenworth, WA.
Do I have to make reservations for the igloo? Yes, we highly recommend making reservations as soon as possible. Our igloos tend to book up quickly in advance, and we want to ensure that you secure your spot for this unique and enchanting experience.
What is the capacity for each igloo? Igloo A accommodates a maximum of 5 people. Igloo B has a maximum capacity of 4 people, with the option to add a folding chair for one additional guest.
What is the duration and cost of the Igloo Experience? The Igloo Experience is available for a time slot of 1 hour and 30 minutes and is priced at $190. This package includes the igloo service for 90 minutes, along with a delightful selection of Silvara wines: 1 bottle of 2022 Winemaker’s Reserve White Blend, 1 bottle of 2020 Woodland Goddess Reserve Red Blend, and 1 bottle of 2019 Barbera. Please note that wine substitutions are not allowed.
Can we taste additional wines in the igloos? While wine tastings are not permitted in the igloos, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying the three bottles provided in your package. Additionally, we offer two free pours per group to taste any possible additional bottles you might be interested in.
Are outside food allowed in the igloos? For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request no outside food within the igloos.
Are outside pets allowed in the igloos? For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request no pets within the igloos.
Are outside children allowed in the igloos? For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request no children within the igloos.

When are the igloos open, and what are the available time slots? Our igloos are open from Friday, December 1st, to March 18th. Time slots for each igloo are as follows: 12:00 to 1:30, 1:45 to 3:15, and 3:30 to 5:00. Please, note that there is special holiday opening hours on November 23rd (noon to 3PM). We are closed on December 25th and January 1st. Starting January 22nd, we are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
