A warm glass box, and the whole valley in front of it.
Your own heated igloo on the hill, the Cascades going pink at four o’clock, and a bottle you picked yourself already open. Winter is the season this view was built for.
Two igloos, four and five seats. They go early on weekends.
The Silvara Winter Wine Experience

You get the box, the view and the whole slot.
You check in at the tasting room, pick your three bottles, and someone walks you out. The igloo is already warm. Then it is yours — nobody rotates you out, nobody hovers, and the light does the thing it does over the Cascades at about four in the afternoon.
Bring a coat for the walk out and back. You will not need it once you are inside.

One seats five. One seats four.
They face the same direction and they are heated the same. Pick on party size, and on whether you want the garden or the drop.

Ninety dollars holds it. Forty-five if you’re a member.
The reservation fee covers the igloo for your session. Wine is separate — three bottles between the table, chosen by you, and yours to take home if you don’t finish them.
Half. Book one igloo evening in a season and the membership has already paid for a meaningful part of itself — which is the honest reason to join, and the reason this sits at the top of the page rather than in a footnote.
- Half the reservation fee, every booking
- Three bottles at member pricing
- First pick of December and February weekends
The same igloo, the same view, the same three bottles. Book it once and you will understand why the members booked it twice.
- The igloo for your session
- Three bottles, chosen at the counter
- Blankets and a heater that actually works
Weather is not your problem.
The $90 locks your slot, and we do not refund it — an igloo held for you is an igloo nobody else could book. But if the mountain does something unreasonable, we reschedule you. Call us and we will find another evening.
The questions people actually ask.
Is the igloo actually warm?
Yes. Each one is heated and comes with blankets. People turn up in parkas and take them off inside.
Do we have to buy three bottles?
Yes — three bottles between the table is what the booking includes, and whatever you do not finish goes home with you. Nothing is poured out.
How long do we get?
The igloo is yours for your session, not until the next party arrives. Ask when you book which slots are running that week.
Can we bring children?
Yes, and they count toward the seat limit — five in the Garden, four in the Cascade. Anyone drinking needs ID.
Can we bring food?
Ask when you book. Call 509-548-1000 and we will tell you what works that week.
What if it snows hard?
Highway 2 is the thing to watch, not the igloo. If the pass or the road is bad, call us — we would much rather move you than have you drive it.
Can we cancel?
The reservation fee is not refundable, because the slot was held for you. We do reschedule for weather.
When does the season run?
Winter — roughly December through March, depending on the year. Book early for December and February weekends; those two go first.
Pick an evening and we will have it warm.
Two igloos, a short season, and a view that is better in the cold. Members pay half.
