Silvara Vineyards High Mountain Huckleberry

$25.00

Tasting Notes: Lifted notes of lychee, orange blossom, ginger, and sweet spice dance alongside strawberries, raspberries, red cherries, and -of course- huckleberries, all of it lingering with hints of candied orange peel and white peaches. A word of warning: There’s a serious chance that our High Mountain Huckleberry Rosé will ruin you for other fruit wines from this point forward. But we’re absolutely sure that it’s worth the risk!

Blend: Dry Riesling and Idaho Huckleberries.

Pairings: Silvara’s High Mountain Huckleberry Rosé is an amazing wine to be enjoyed on its own, but it also offers a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness, making it a versatile partner for a range of dishes and occasions. To enhance your tasting experience, consider pairing it with fresh summer salads, spicy dishes, cheese platters, light seafood, and fruit desserts.

Winemaker’s Notes: We’ve always believed that fruit wine had serious potential, able to offer complexity, precision, and the kind of deliciousness that makes you crave an immediate second glass. And yet, after years of tasting every example we could get our hands on, we couldn’t find one that lived up to our expectations. So we decided to take matters into our own hands. The result -our High Mountain Huckleberry Rosé- is everything we’ve been searching for in fruit wine! Our rendition finds a scintillating balance between mouthwatering acidity and sweetness of fruit, leveraging huckleberry’s natural talents to “amp up” some of the finest Horse Heaven Riesling from the Pacific Northwest. The result is a rosé that’s slightly sweet, tart and floral, but crisp and refreshing!
